A question of tolerance - 7 replies I’ve had to move my tablesaw, i took the opportunity to break it down and clean it up, replace the belts. now I’m trying to set it back up and im having difficulty. its a 3hp grizzly 10in TS. I’m trying to get the alignment right between the blade and the miter slots….right now its .004 away at the far end of the table... |

Is there a clear outdoor finish? - 10 replies Recently built a Lutyens Bench out of white oak. Bleached the white oak. I’m pretty happy with it, but I haven’t finished it yet. I still need a decent sealer. I researched it as much as I can, I really like the finish with a Water-based poly, but thats not much good for outdoors. working with metal inlay - 4 replies i just built a plant stand for my wife for xmas. has a 6×6 copper sheet on the top, wrapped in wood edging. How to level my tablesaw - 4 replies I feel like this may be a silly question, but my shop has a very pitted and uneven floor. I woul like to get my tablesaw level and stable. Currently, I have it level with the outfeed table by using a couple of levelers I found at rockler (www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=2053&filter=leveler). but they are not stable, they move just a bit.... |
