I live in historic Fort Langley BC. I am strictly an amateur woodworker. I work in the IT profession and enjoy getting away from computers to work in the shop. I enjoy building furniture for our home. My favourite wood is knotty pine but also work with Oak, Mahogany and Cherry. Most of my tools are Ridgid and I am very happy with them. I have some Dewalt equipment as well. I have recently started wood turning and have been working on Pens, bowls and other projects.

I will have to add to the chorus of requests for pictures. Visual shop tours are an interesting part of this site. Hope you are able to post some pictures soon.

You live in a great part of the world SeaQuest. Plenty of timber in your neck of the woods.

Posted a photo as you guys requested. It’s just part of the shop but I’m really enjoying turning right now so it’s the part where I’m spending a lot of time. The lathe is a new General Maxi Lathe that my wife bought me for my birthday.

Jim, it looks like you have a well organized shop. I can well understand why you would want to spend a lot of time on the lathe. It is addictive. I don’t have a lathe in my shop but everytime I see a turning posted here it moves one higher up on my list.

Thanks for the post. I enjoyed visiting your shop.
