I have always enjoyed DIY projects. Like making my own Powder Horn from a raw horn, things like that. My wife wants a nice Cutting board so I’m going to make her one instead of buying one. Much more satisfaction and you can get just what YOU want! I enjoy forums like this one because I can draw on the experiences of “Lumberjocks” and shorten my learning curve.
I have really seen some great work here in the few days I’ve been here.

Be sure to do a search for “cutting board” and “CB” – you will find more ideas and suggestions than you can imagine! I look forward to seeing your version.

Hi Ed.

Welcome to the madhouse for those who are mad about wood. If you want a place that shares thousands of man-years of experience in every facet of the craft, this is the place because there’s no place like this place any place but this place!

Pull up a stump, pull out yer whittlin’ knife and get to making savings while you join the conversations.

Welcome home!
