Dads Shelves

I started on a shelving project for my Dad. The Shelves are Ash. The facing is Mahogany. I’m going to add doors at the bottom that slide and those are going to be Pecan. I used Tung oil for a finish. I started by joining the 3/4” Birch Ply by with dovetail joints, but I realized, that was going overboard and reverted to pocket hole screws. When I start a project, I usually say to myself, that I’m going to do this one without any nails or screws, but sometimes its just not worth it if nobody sees your work. I will be posting more when I can get back to it.

Nice shelves.

What brand of tung oil did you use?
