Well, this is sort of woodworking related…

My wife and I went to the hospital with my son and his pregnant wife for a routine sonogram, and found out that my grandchild will be a boy! WoHoo! Looks like another Morrison woodworker is in the making.

As if I needed another reason for a glass of single malt and a cigar.

Life is good…

Congratulations Scott. Now you can start designing a workbench for him and make a special baby crib that will inspire him to inherit your talents.
Happy grandfather!

Congratulations, Scott. I am sure you will find that your grandson is going to be a lot of fun. Better get busy. August will be here before you know it.

Thank you so much for all the kind words everyone. I’ll pass them along to my son and daughter-in-law as well. Being a grandparent is one of the greatest joys of life. I am very fortunate.

Congrats! Is this gonna be the first grandchild? I’ve got my first child on the way, and due about the same time, any names picked out?
