I’ve started a project, a shaker-style workbench found in the Dec. issue of Popular Woodworking. I’ll be going slow with this one learning as I go. It’ll be made of solid maple and will use most of the tools I’ve bought and tricks I’ve learned so far.
I’ve got the legs made and glued to a sturdy base now. I think it’ll weigh about 400lb when finished. I’ll have to bolt the big pieces together so I can move it if I ever decide to sell my house.
