wow ken, no wonder you don’t have time to travel, this bowl will take you some time to finish…LOL, this is a really cool turning, and when there done, this will be the biggest bowl of cereal i’ve ever taken on…when your done here, come on up we can glue up all the heart pine i have and do a bowl of notable size…please remember to bring your laughing gas, as it would be much more doable to take this on while under the influence …LOL..THANKS THIS IS REALLY GREAT…

Preparing for the annual New Years Day Spaghetti Bowl. I can’t seem to remember where it’s held nor can I imagine which Universities will be represented.

That is amazing Ken, I didn’t know such tiny woodturners even existed! Thanks for posting.

Thanks Candy for finding the link to the website. I brush up my best German here and figure this out. These must me some Germans who do woodturning and artwork and went for a Guinness world record. LOL, I’m so proud of my heritage.

There is a video on utube of a couple of “lunatics” turning a bowl attached to their 4×4 in Canada.

However the German “technology” wins out this time.

The link Candy attached shows pictorialy how they did it, you would want to have total faith in the tractor operator.

And the tie down straps, as it all looks a bit temporary !!

Come to think of it I am sure Bob Wemm does something similar !!!

You would want sponsorship from Howard Products to do the finishing !!

Something to see alright. Would LOVE a go at turning but no way I’m sanding it. No way.

Thanks to to Ken and Candy too for these pics. Pretty amazing. It looked a bit risky when they were turning the bowl over to move it. It must have been pretty darn heavy.

When I first saw this I thought this was a photo of something you were making outside your shop, setting a record right there in Florida ;). LOL.
