I am trying to start a home based wood shop to create a second income and possibly become a full time operation. I have no aspirations of a large operation, just me and maybe a part time helper. I am looking for advice on starting up, pre-planning information and how to get my energy provider to upgrade my home electrical service from 100Amps to 200Amps to facilitate the machinery demands of my shop. Anything would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have no idea how big your shop is going to be and what you have to work with(New construction or existing building). You can look at my workshop for some ideas. Good luck and keep us posted.
God Bless
