« Part 2: A fairly productive (for me...) day! Part 3 of Spring Projects Time! series no next part

Hi y’all! We’ve been having some fairly pleasant, spring-like weather here in Belleveu, this past week and I’ve been taking advantage of it. Spent a lot of time every day out in my li’l ol’ garage shop.
I put the finishing touches on a few more of those tea light candle holders. I’ve decided I really like the cantilevered supports! These things are kinda easy to make (easy to mess up, too!) and fun to build. Plus, judging by the first-hand responses I’ve gotten, they ought to be a pretty sure seller when I get set up at the crafters’ show next month! Reminds me… I gotta call that guy back – he’s worse than I am about returning calls! I’ve got 10 or 11 of ‘em made now, BTW.
I also epoxied the heads into my 3rd golf club coat rack and started work on 3 more, also in cedar. Going to do one with 5 wood drivers, this time. The other two will have 5- and 6-head matched sets of irons – one is a set of Titleists and the other is an H&G set with ol’ Fuzzy Zoeller’s name/logo on them. (hopefully, they’re not worth a bunch o’ money!!!)
The other project I’ve gotten almost done (just need final finish coats) is a set of four sliding-top wine boxes, done in maple (body) and walnut (front). This will mark my first production job, as I’ve always done only one-of-a-kind items, in the past. This is my first time doing more than one at a time of the same thing and they actually came out pretty darned close to “alike”! They also incorporate my first successful attempt at a rounded feature (fronts) and I think they turned out rather well. I also didn’t use any fire wood in these, but the maple is some I picked up at a local building salvage business – new, unused 1”x4”x12’ stock and less than half of local retail prices – ka-CHING!
The one thing I have not done is, once again, take pictures – either along the way, or of the finished products. I’m setting my camera by my keyboard, so I’ll remember to do it tomorrow. I hope. Maybe…
OK, time to go make my morning coffee (fresh-ground Rwanda, dark roast – Mmmmmm!!) and maybe watch an episode or two of Dr. Who. Nighty-nite, everybody!
