I’ve been taking advantage of the spring weather here in eastern Nebraska and have spent a lot of time out in my no-longer-frozen garage-shop. Been knocking the rust off my woodworking “skills”. Turned out a couple pieces of crap that will be wood-wasting dust-collectors on a back shelf. However comma I did manage to complete a couple and hve a few others in work. The done items are a pair of tea light candle holders. The in-work ones are afew more of those and another cedar golf club coat rack. Got one more purty cedar chunk and then going to try a ‘fairway cut-out’ one in poplar, next. After that, I’m getting ideas for some sliding top wine boxes.
There are a couple of local crafers’ shows coming up that I am going to try to get into. It’ll be my first “public” selling opportunity and I’m kinda anxious about it, but I’m looking forward to doing it! I’m trying to build up a variety of items that I like to make. I’ll see which ones (if any!) are good sellers. Then, I’ll go from there. Or go home.
Y’all have a great time of it and stay dusty!
