Anyone try upgrading their HF DC impeller? - 37 replies
The Harbor Freight 2HP Dust Collector has a 10” impeller. By most accounts this is too small for a 2HP system leaving usable HP off the table. I’d like to know if anyone has successfully done the upgrade and if they did, what part# did they use. I’ve done a lot of searching, but haven’t seen any part numbers of success...

FYI, this is NOT my auction. I see an auction that might be a once in a lifetime find. It hasn’t started yet, but maybe some jocks here don’t want me to “spread the word” so they can get a good price. So what’s the deal? Is it okay to show it or not?

Would the repetitive impacts of 15” blades hitting wood quickly downgrade the bearings fro...

This was gonna be a tool gloat, but.... - 3 replies
The last few days I’ve been seeing a few amazing deals on CL and kept missing them. There was even a delta 8” jointer and Uni-Saw for FREE! Can you imagine that? Well, I found a Makita 2040 15” planer listed for $50 so I jumped on it and got it. To get it, we had to drive 2hrs through through some hills and windy roads, but we ...

Fold "UP" outfeed table - 20 replies
Usually I see outfeed tables that fold down when not in use.Since I have to park the car in the garage in front of the table saw, I’d like the outfeed table to be able to fold up and over the top of the TS top. In the folded up position, it would serve as a nice assembly/glue up table (keeping glue off the TS). Has anyone ever seen/heard/r...
