        <![CDATA[<p><img alt="Miter Saw Stand with Extendable wings" src="http://lumberjocks.com/assets/pictures/projects/352360-196x130.jpg" /></p><p>I&#8217;ve taken a lot of good ideas for miter saw stands on the net and added my own &#8230; extensible wings!<br />The wings span 10&#8217; when fully extended.<br />The black knobs keep the wings from sliding, which is especially useful in preventing them from dragging on the floor in the down position. UHMW tape was used to keep the extension sliding free, whilst still being tight enough to keep it from sagging at full extension.<br />There is also a wing leveler made up of a threaded insert, a bolt, and a wingnut.</p>]]>
