Part 1: Mahogany Adirondack Chair

This was my second attempt to make a chair. What made this all unique for me was that I used templates, a router table and mahogany for the first time!The wood is from reclaimed church pews that I got off of Craigslist for almost nothing.Best part is that I can make another one with all the templates that were made – so we’ll see about the second one.The wood is 1 1/2 inch thick and I used Teak Oil.I am not happy with what I am calling the ‘cloudy ends’ wh...

Part 2: Reclaimed Redwood Table (with planterbox down the middle!)

Saw a very modern table that had a split down the middle, and they had planted Wheat Grass – it looked very cool. This is my first attempt at a table, and I cut and then hacked a curvy planterbox down the center. My stepson loves succulents, so we figured they could stand drying out a bit between watering, and would not have a large root problem. He put them in and I am very happy with the results.
