Novice woodworker - enjoys woodworking by hand with the minimum of power tools. The photo on my profile is my trying plane - 23 1/2" Ulmia Ott Wood Plane 60 M/M. with a 2 1/2" Blade width.

Took me ages to get the blade sharp - don't think it had been touched in 50 years - but it certainly cuts well.

Woodworking is therapy - takes your mind off everything else and and makes you understand that its not always just about the destination. Sometimes its the journey that matters most.
