Thanks so much to everyone for your warm welcome. I’m a member of several forums related to my other interests (mainly fishing and shooting) and they have some great people, but the folks here are really a cut above. Honestly, I’ve never read so many kind comments, answers, criticisms (constructive, of course), suggestions, bits of advice, etc. as I have on this site. And the time some of you pros take to patiently answer—and even blog about—the many questions from the less experienced among us (I top that list!) is absolutely incredible. After spending hours and hours bouncing around so many of your pages, ogling your unbelievable work, I can’t even claim the title “woodworker” for myself but I just had to join, hoping a little rubs off on me! I have three little ones so don’t get to spend too much time in the shop, but I’ll try to post a few things when I can. Thanks again to all.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
