I just want to express to you all what fun I have had on this site. I have made an enormous amount of great friends and learned a bucket full of knowledge.

So just a simple thanks to all of you for letting a knuckle head like me enjoy this thing we call LJs.

The place has changed quite a bit in five years – I would say for the better. But it was quite a ride back in the early days too with a lot less attention. I loved it then, and I love it now.

I need to get back into the shop and build some stuff soon.

Thanks Everyone,
Steve

Congrats. Thanks for your contribution – newbies like me like to see oldsters still hanging around, says a lot about a site.

Man, are you ever old in LJ years. I’m only two.
In my time on the forum you have become one of my best buddies.
Your projects are always interesting and meticulously executed and your comments are always thoughtful.

Just a couple of my thoughts:
1) I still don’t believe you’re not a rocket surgeon.
2) You got a really good thinker.
3) You just plain got skills man.
4) You just gotta retire and have a little fun.

Happy anniversary Steve and many more !!

Congrats! I just realized I joined exactly a week after you did. I agree with Shipwright. There’s several people I have gotten to know through this site over the years that I wish I knew personally. We’re all just too spread apart. But at least we’ve got a place to congregate online.
