My work shop is my attached 2 car garage which I only park my motorcycle inside at night. The garage was built with a nook at the front left corner, made for a chest type freezer, I put two tools in that corner, my dust collection system, HF motor with Clear Vue cyclone, and my air compressor, neither need to be mobile and they fit nicely in that space. Most major complaint about my garage space is only having 8’ ceiling height, 9 or 10 would be so much nicer. My house furnace and water heater are in a closet in the garage so I had easy access to NG line so a few years ago I added a small NG heater, now I wonder why I didn’t do that when I bought the house.

The latest power tool I added to my shop is a new Hammer A3-31 jointer/planer with spiral cutter head. I have only had it a few weeks but thus far it is working out fantastic!!

My other major power tools are a 3HP Sawstop cabinet saw, Grizzly 17” bandsaw, Jet 16-32 drum sander and a Grizzly table top drill press. The table saw, bandsaw and jointer/planer are all 240V and have dust collection from the Clear Vue. I ran another dust line from the Clear Vue that is double duty, I hook my drum sander or my router table to it just depending on which i’m using at the time.

My router table is a Kreg with a Triton 2 1/4 horse. This will soon be replaced with a Incra system with new motor and lift. Just last night my Triton decided it no longer wants to raise or lower.

My main pride and joy is my Roubo work bench which I built along with The Wood Whisperer Guild build a couple of years ago. It’s all Maple with Benchcrafted Hardware, both leg vise and tail vise. I just recently added a chain tensioning device to the leg vise so I no longer use the guide leg pin system.

This post is a work in progress, I will add more as I have time.

Wow, what a nice workbench and I love the color on the bottom shelf. Need to post that to the Smackdown thread for sure. Good luck on the ‘work in progress,’ enjoy the ride SL!

Thanks, I built the bench 2 years ago following along with The Wood Whisperer on his Guild build of the Roubo work bench using Bench Crafted hardware.
