I havent seen snow that stuck to the ground here in The Lowcountry in SC since 1989 right after Hurricane Hugo. But this evening we got about 4-6inches on the ground. Pretty Awesome if I must say. One story from tonight my 3yr old wanted to build a snow man. So I tried to throw something together and she said “Daddy, that looks like a snow turtle, and I was like I’m sorry I dont built these often”.

Me three, where’s the turtle? My father-in-law lives in Columbia and he said yesterday afternoon they had 3” and were expecting more.

It looks like Jack Frost has hit us all. We totalled about 40+ inches from this last storm and so far for the year weve had 54” here in Northern Virginia.

Sorry guys no pics of the snow turtle. Too Embarrassed….....We had a good time. It will probably many more years before we see that again. Well The next day we successfully built a snow man with the help of more snow and My parents, The rode over to see the kids. We had fun.
