I am a keen woodworker who prefers to use only hand tools. I occasionally have a lapse and use a power tool but much prefer a more manual approach. Particularly keen on hand saws, planes, spokeshave and draw knives. Also do quite a bit of wood turning, mainly spindle work. Retired a few years ago and so now am able to spend much more time in my shed (workshop).

Lately I been enjoying Nesuke type carving but applied to things like the walking sticks and planes that I make. I am the Secretary of our local Woodworking Club.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
tom
