Hey Guys and Gals

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe independence day. We are in beatiful Houghtn Lake, Michigan a the Bear Claw cafe in Arnie’s Craft Store. We are having a coffee and sweet roll break then on to FISHING. I took the wife to houghton lake airport and got her in a plane for the first time. She had a wonderful time. The damn plane was older than I was. It was a 1966 cessna. I will be back in the shop on Sunday and will be refreshed.

My sister and her family came down from Houghton this weekend. I’ll ask her about the Cafe. I plan to make a trip up there in August. Should be a good time. BTW: I’d love to be as young as that plane! LOL

Hope you had fun at Arnies Rick. How was the walleye fishing? Glad you had a good time and got to check it out by air. Did you get to pass over Higgins Lake. That’s supposed to be one of the top 10 most beautiful lakes in the world. m

no fishing there. I needed a boat to get out on the water. They didn’t have any spots for shore fishing.
