Well, I finally finished the template for the game board and attatched it to a piece of birch plywood 3/4 inch. Tomorrow I am going to start routing the holes. It took me 2 days to get my Porter Cable router set up for the task.
Talked to my cousins wife today. She wants this one and about 3 more ready for a trip to Florida in April. I told her that I could possibly have them ready for her. She also asked if I could carve a saying onto the bottom of the board. I told her that I could wood burn it on. She liked that idea. So progress is being made. Will post the project in a few days. (Haven’t figured how to showo pics in the blog yet). I told my cousin’s wife that I am making the 1st board a test board. I need to get more wood and laminate them to an inch thick, and roughly 18 inches square. I was going to make a drawer for the marbles, but decided to drill a hole on the edge of all four sides to put the marbles and dice. Looks like I got my work cut out for me. More to come.
