I know it has been awhile since I posted. But I have been busy with work and playing with my new toy. Plus dealing with the loss of both my Mother and my wife’s Mother within two weeks of each other, has been a really trying year.

But the reason for this post is to show you my new baby and toy.

Rikon 70-100 mini lathe. Bigger than my old one and Wow what a difference.

Rick, you sure got it going in a hurry. You’ll love turning on a more powerful lathe..no more stalling it out with a 4” piece!!!!!!!!

Keep the chips flying. I’ll bring some sycamore for you tomorrow at the guild meeting!!

Have heard good comments on this lathe…thanks for your input, and here’s hoping the rest of the year is great for you and your family.
