I have been working at Johnson Controls in Holland, MI for the last year as a temporary employee. 2 weeks ago they gave me a job offer. So I am finally getting hired in next week. Going from $8.50 an hour to $11.05 an hour with benefits. Finally I can relax and not worry about my job and get back to woodworking.

I’m happy for you , Rick. The benefits part now a days is so important. Most employers want workers on part time status so they don’t have to give any benefits. Hang in there with JCI…............Jim

Great news Rick! Nothing takes the wind out of the sails than concerns about the economy and our survival. I am happy to hear you are able to breathe again. Congratulations!

Johnson Controls is a good company!

It was/is one of the major competitors of Honeywell, one of my former employers years ago.

Wish you well in your new job!
