Well as the new year begins, I am compelled (by SWMBO) to clean the shop. As I am cleaning I am also rearranging everything. I am on my 3rd day. I am also going to put my router table upon wheels. I moved my cut off bin to underneath my wood rack (just mad sense). So that is what I have been up to lately. I can’t wait to get my shop back in order. Oh, I almost forgot…I am going to be joining a carving guild in my area too. I went to Woodcraft to spend my gift card and just asked if they knew of a guild in the area for carvers. The staff at Woodcraft bent over backwards to help me out.

More to come later

Hi Rick,
It’s one of the dreaded task that is well worth the time spent. Who knows you may even find a lost tool or two.
I agree that the GR Woodcraft is a great bunch.

Lucky guy, Ive been trying to recapture my garage since Halloween! I will never let the kids use it for a fun house again, I had just gotten it under control. But I digress. Good job make it right and you’ll enjoy working there much more.

I wish that we lived closer to the Woodcraft near you guys. I can’t stand the one in Canton. I was always the one getting bent over when I went in there. Thank God there is a Rockler close enough.

I’m looking forward to setting up my new shop. It can be a lot of fun if you appreciate it for what it is. Think about it….. You’re laying out your very own play ground:-) And you’re doing it as an adult! The only thing that is more fun than that is playing with all of the toys.

I had just cleaned out my workshop and rearranged everything when the small flood entered the workshop… now the floor has been washed as well…lucky all the wood was moved to the wood store..
