Hey Guys and Gals,
Well tomorrow is the big LJ get together in Michigan. I am sooo looking forward to it. I have built two new projects to show off. and have a design dilema for the guys to help me with. The better half and I can’t wait to meet everyone and tour the saw mill. She told me that I could go out and get some wood yesterday, but I told her that I am waiting for Sunday to get my wood. (she wasn’t thinking). So I also have some plans that I bought that are extras so if anyone wants them take them. I am also bringing some veneer.
So all in all, We are very excited to be able to attend. Will post pictures later in the week.
Rick

I second that Rick, I’ve contacted Kelvin twice in the past week and he sounded excited about having us come out. It’s still just saying cloudy and a high of 54 tomorrow. I’ve got a tub full of exotic wood that I’ve garnered from all around the shop for the pen turners, yes it’s free. Plus that tiny bandsaw and scrollsaw. Plus some vittles so we’ll be fat and happy when we go see the sawyer. Reminder, the park does not allow alcohol in the park. I’m bringing Diet Coke, plus extra for anyone else diabetic. There will be a sign directing you where to go. Don’t forget your cameras and feel free to bring the Mrs.. and Kids. If you get lost or can’t find it, my cell phone # is 517-927-1378 and I’ll guide you in for a safe landing. LOL See you guys tomorrow, and looking forward to it. Mike

Mike,
Check the cell phone number you entered, it doesn’t work right now.
I need a little info.

Try it again Steve, it rang in here as unavailable, which usually means a telemarketer. It’s the right #.

We’ll be there, but without a new project. I was hoping to get something done in time for the picnic – but was not to be the case. Still – looking forward to meeting everyone and picking up some wood.
