Hey Guys and Gals,

Well SWMBO has spoken, (again)LOL. She has told me that the bed can wait a little longer. She is now wanting the office done. That should not be too bad. I have a 3 foot wide by 6 foot long walnut book matched veneer table top that my father made 20 + years ago. I have one cabinet support for the top. I am going to build another one. I am also going to attach a 2×4 to the wall to act as a ledger. Then I need to get either glass or plexiglass to cover the top to protect it. Mrs. Rustic is getting her new laptop this weekend and wants the PC’s out of the livingroom and kitchen. I also need to set up a wireless network so we can both use our laptops at the same time. Talk about taking a giant leap into the technology age.

The office will be used primarily as my computer repair and craft business office. I am setting up both PC’s in the office and will have a switch to be able to use both of them.

I am so excited about this project. Eventually she also wants me to build a full wall (floor to ceiling) bookcase to store our book collection and my woodworking books and repair manuals for computers. This by far the laegest undertaking I have ever attempted.

Will keep you updated as I start this project.

Have at it Guy. An office is a good place to get things out of the way so real work can be done. I too will be waiting for pictures.
