An unlikely tool

I love this tool. The minute I get a blank to round, out it comes. It’s a breeze to sharpen, it cuts smooth and it fits into some places you wouldn’t think it would. I am getting one more 19” and a smaller one for the tighter spots. I may get 4 or 5 and shape them differently for specific tasks.

I’m a turning novice. What is it? Where did you get it? How do you shape them?

You can look up Versa chisel in Google. If it’s sharp it will take off a continuous ribbon and it’s a very smooth surface.
