Wow!

Thanks for the nice greetings and encouragement.

Since joining I’ve spent many hours looking at members projects and I want everyone here to know that I am amazed and inspired by their work. It’s like coming home.

I learned of Lumberjocks from the Steve Marin video about bandsaw boxes. I’m trying to work the bugs out of the technique for making them like trying to figure out how to make my 1/8” bandsaw blade behave on my 14” Ridgid machine.

I’ll put up a project soon. In the interim, I’ll be scoping out the projects here, watching, learning, and making sawdust.

Thanks again,

Russ

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a little over a year ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Wisty

Etsy isnt that hard to maintain!
With everything, it takes some getting used to in the beginning,
but heres a link to get started! http://etsy.me/1sxsn6M
It will give me 40 free listings if you make a shop! lol ( 20 cents a listing)

Its been a fun hobby which im working on making full time! Give it a shot!
