I'm Northern Ontario resident that lost his grandfather last year, and I have taken his passion/love for woodworking all that he taught me and started a small business... 'Original Rudge' Handmade Canadian Cottage Products.
I inherited a bunch of tools including a old Craftsman lathe from my grandfather (which has sucked me in over the last few months...but I love it. Not sure if my wife does?) But, with the demand from family and friends for things, I have taken my hobby to the next level. Which includes everything from a canoe paddle key holder, to Maple Bowls, and Wine Racks....
Most of my products deal with 'Cottage Country' where I have set up as home with my wife, Jaime and our 10 month old daughter, Hannah for the past 6 years.
Life is good up here in the north, and glad to find out about and join Lumber Jocks to share some knowledge, but mostly learn from all of you guys...

Thanks for the complement on the Muskoka chair. I am about 2 hours north of you but I have friends in Huntsville. The one lives right infront of KWH pipe. (I think that is what it called) Maybe I stop by next time I’m down there.
