I love car boot sales and junk shops find some great deals, last weekend I picked up a few nice tenon saws a no 7 Record jointer, no 4 1/2 stanley (needs alot of work, broken tote and poor weld to side) and a 1 1/4 paring chisels. anyone else picked up anything decent.

anyone know anything about the saw makers.

Here in the states, anyone selling anything out of the back of their car is undoubtedly selling stolen goods or trying to rip you off with a brand new TV box full of rocks. I bought a 12V Dewalt drill from a crackhead once back when I was in construction….It made me feel all dirty and I swear I had horrible luck for a month!!

Incidentally…your home country of Wales is the most beautiful place I have ever seen!!!! Been once…can’t wait to go back!!!

With a bit of hunting finding those “GEMS in the ROUGH” make it all worth while. I like shopping at Flea Markets, yard sales, auction sales and sometimes even good items come to Thrift shops, etc. Those saws came out very nice !
