OK, so I’m not much of a social networker, but so far I like this site for it’s specific focus (home at last, maybe). I’ve posted some of my older projects and I need to get some pics done for my newer ones (since we moved to Colorado). There is still quite a few of them on the to do list as well. We are finishing up a renovation (not sure if that’s accurate) project at our house and there are some more built-ins and what not that will need to be made. Once again, not much time for the fun stuff (I guess it’s all mostly fun even if it is wife-requested).

Scott, I know exactly where you are coming from. I would have more time to pursue fun projects (such as shop projects) if it weren’t for the ever-expanding to-do list that my wife keeps. I have a firm belief that she feels it is her mission in life to find things to keep me busy. :) But, as you said, it is something that you obviously enjoy doing. And, of course, it does keep her happy and that is what is really important when all is said and done.

The trick is to try to get the TDL projects done in the order she wants it done (it’s not the same order as the list). Also, she keeps a second list in her head, and expects those items to get done in the proper order too! Every now and again she allows me to get into the shop, though. I guess that is why we have been married for nearly 36 years.
