19 posts in 1282 days Location: Castle Rock, CO The first woodworking memories I have are of my dad's creations - a couple framed pictures made from wood shavings and a lamp with wood trusses weaved around with fishing line. So, I tinkered in his shop a bit growing up and have taught myself by making a lot of mistakes along the way. I thing my first major project was a dresser\entertainment center I made out of wood pallets with saguaro "skeleton" accents. The construction was a bit shoddy and it ended up in the trash after I got married and moved into our first house. I still have all the saguaro pieces still though.
