I recently found this design video. The music is a bit dated.
I thought folks here would appreciate a hands on design method. Notice the French curves and dividers…no autocad here!
Follow the process of designing a bottle decanter from start to finish.

That is a great video Ron. I work with plastic models and complain when I have to mold a special piece to fit a modification I made, this process is way more intense! Thanks for posting the video link.

Wonderful video.
I love how you take care to warn us that the music may be a bit outdated. What about the smoking and drinking in the workplace? That didn’t make an impact on you? I also enjoy that all the “typical shoppers” they tested in the mock grocery store were all women. And the evening cocktail party with all of the men in suits. Classic.

Yeah, I noticed the smoking and the celebratory drinking! But you know, that’s the way it was back then! Even the old movies, and who here remembers everyone – including the cigarette companies – insisting that it was completely ‘harmless’?? Goes to show, DODD (do your own due diligence) don’t take the word of anyone without looking deeper into it.
