Just getting Started #2: Dust collector

After doing research on good and cheap dust collectors I decided to purchase a Harbor Freight 2HP model. Alot of people think that it is a good value. I was able to pick one up at the store with a coupon for $149. I put it together and it work like a charm I think I will upgrade the filter bag in the near future and add a pre-seperator.

-- Just new to the Hobby. Expect lots of questions.

I HAVE THE SAME DUST COLLECTOR. IT GETS THE JOB DONE, I USED GATES AT EACH MACHINE. EMPTY THE BAG WHEN IT IS 3/4 FULL. IT LOSES SUCTION AFTER THAT AND IT GETS REAL HEAVY TOO.

I also have the same DC. I have installed the filter system from Wynn Environmental. It is a big improvement and well worth the price. Call them and they will tell you exactly what you need. Check this site:
