Well after working with my uncle on a couple of projects I thought it was time to start getting my own equipment for my shop.(mother-in-laws 24’ by 36’ steel building) I went to looking on craigslist and eBay to see was was available used and at a good price. My uncle has a 3HP Craftsman contractors saw and I thought that would be a good place to start. I happen to come across the same model saw as my uncles on craigslist and it was only 20 miles from my house. I was in great condition and I picked it up for $125. So I am now on my way to getting my shop started.

Great start, I hope your workshop will provide you the same enjoyment, peace, and solitude that mine has provided. Be forewarned!—space will become a very valuable commodity within that shop. Have fun, be safe, and welcome to the most expensive and rewarding hobby you could undertake. It’s well worth the ride.
