Barley in Arts and Crafts Frame

This was inspired by 2 LumberJocks contributors, Max and Dan. I have always been a big fan of the Arts and Crafts and Mission styles. When I first became a member of LumberJocks, two of the first members whose projects inspired me were Max and Dan. That was the first time that I had seen framed tiles. I really liked them. I found a gentleman here in St. Louis that was doing ceramic tiles, Ken of “Fishing Creek Studios”. I contacted him and purchased several of his tiles. This particular tile is of barley, it was one of a series done for AB.

I hope Max and Dan find this a fitting homage to their work or as I call it in the Manx Style.
