Location: Central Illinois

Just another older retired married male. Drove semi trucks for to many years. Started the first one in 1956 and shut down in 2002. Now I spend my time trying to turn wood on the lathe. Or staying out of trouble. Darn not much fun in that is there? Do just a small bit of flat wood work also. I enjoy friendly folks and this great country we live in. Have been paid to see it all and not one bit sorry I did. You that have nevver trucked cross country will never know just how many nice folks live in the USA and Canada.

Hey there, glad to see another person join the LumberJocks community! It’s a great place to meet new people, post projects, ask questions and so much more, hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I was talking to a former semi truck driver the other week and the stories he had were pretty good, I imagine the stories you have and things you have sen are much the same, also as a Canadian I would have to agree with your last statement there haha. Welcome!
