This is a video on how to do epoxy finish on a tabletop. Thanks goes to Scott at San Juan Carpentry for his editing and filming me while I applied the finish. Be sure to click at end of video to see part 2, where I explain the process

That was very cool. I have used quite a bit of epoxy building a little sailboat but never on furniture. Thanks for the video, it’s good to know the proper way to do it rather than just slapping it on…

I also like to know what brand of epoxy do you use
and where I can get it in Canada

The brand is Aero marine out of California. I use their 300/21 mix. They have other mixes as well, but I have not tried them. The second coat turns out fantastic and it has low odor, sets up better than others I’ve tried.
