Thanks for welcoming me to your site. I found it yesterday and am very glad that I did. Looks like a great place to share and learn. Someone asked for instructions on how to inlay gemstones (calcite, fluorite, turquoise, etc.) into your projects. The inlay work that Stephen Hatcher does is by far the best I have ever seen. His work is incredible and can be viewed at http://www.e-z.net/~summitweb/ (or Goggle Stephen Hatcher and you’ll find him). On his site click on “Technique” and then “Stone Inlay in Woodturning” for an article on how he does his inlay work. This is what I learned from.
