I am a blogger, music fan, social media enthusiast, and dad living in Vancouver BC, and originally from Toronto. I have also lived in London, England. I am an online marketer working for a flooring and other building materials company called BuildDirect, based here in downtown Vancouver.

The reason I’m here is to read stories about people doing what they love, and about creative and innovative uses of natural materials. When I find really cool stories, I like to write about them and then send links back to the original stories. That’s my passion. I am looking forward to contributing to the community here, and taking some new knowledge away too.

Thanks everyone! It’s nice to be welcomed.

I’m not in woodworking myself. But, I write a blog about wood flooring, and woodworking often falls into some of the stories I read about people transforming their spaces. So, I’m mostly here to ask a lot of questions from people who know way more than me.

Cheers everyone!
Rob.
