Now that I am a lumberjock I guess I need to do what all lumberjocks do …. spend a lot of time on the computer. Ok, well, maybe not. It is a good start anyway.

No, seriously, one of the reasons that I joined up here was so that I could share my experiences in the shop as well as hopefully get advice from other members on what to do when I hit the wall trying to come up with ideas.

I have never blogged before, but I think I can probably handle this. I like to show off what is going on in the shop, and quite frankly I get the impression that my wife could care less. She comes out and looks and my progress on shop cleanup or the current project, says “That’s nice” and goes back inside. Well, after lurking here for a while I have a feeling someone will appreciate the work I have done. Hey, who knows, someone may even be able to benefit from something I show.

I will be starting a series this weekend on my shop cleaning efforts. After my last big project I told my wife that I could not do anything else until I got things organized. Well, I have been slowly working on things, and this weekend I am hoping to get a lot of work done. I will be sure to post pictures of things I have done previous to this weekend as well as things that I get done this weekend. Hopefully someone can benefit from my pain, and hopefully I can get some ideas from you about what to about some problems I am having.

I am really looking forward to this. Now, I have to go get busy.

Clean up is always a good start to a new project. That way you can see your progress by how deep the wood chips are getting. LOL. Looking forward to the pictures.

I had good intentions of cleaning, & organizing my shop, but Obi, & Karson got me started on the Thorsen Table Challenge. I’m still in a mess, but enjoying every minute of it.
