I am really glad that this weekend is going to be a warmer one for January in Virginia. I have about 10 things I need to get done this weekend. First off, I am still trying to solidify in my mind an entry for the 2×4 contest. I have a thought, I just have to get out in the shop and start building. Before I can do that I need to do a whirlwind cleanup and come up with a couple of storage shelves for a couple of tools.

On top of the cleanup and the contest entry, I have a couple of piles of leaves in the yard that need cleaning up and taking to the dump before they kill even more grass. That, and I have to get a few shelves made for my honey to replace our stock cabinet shelves so they will store real dishes and kitchen stuff. Finally, I need to get back to finishing a cabinet that I got started back before Christmas.

I will try to post an update to the weekend next week. Maybe I will actually have something to show for progress.

Oh yeah, I cannot forget. I need to get the Christmas lights down and put all of that stuff back in the attic.

See you all on the other side of the weekend.

Boy I’m glad I didn’t put up Christmas light. I don’t want to climb on the room again (At least for lights)

Good luck on the plans.

What are you going to do with all that spare time?

So little time for woodworking projects. It is annoying to have all those other “none essential” activities compete for our shop time. Good luck with your “chores” and try to sneak some shop time into the mix.
