Well, I took last Friday off in order to make it a four day weekend, and I was able to get some things done. I did get the top done for the sharpening cabinet. Now I am ready to mount the grinders to the inserts. As I was positioning my main gridner on the insert I realized that I would not be able to mount a Wolverine jig to the table in the current configuration. The grinder sits too far back and is not high enough. I can fix it to move forward, but if I adjust the height any at all the grinder will no longer fit into the cabinet. Oh, well, I will just have to learn to sharpen the lathe tools with another jig. No big deal.
My wife an I also spent about four hours in the shop Saturday cleaning and it looks much better now.
One gloat from the weekend. The miter saw is now on a brand new stand. I went and bought a Ridgid miter saw stand so I could make the saw take up less room. It will also help in moving it around when I need to. I will post pictures when I ge the sharpening cabinet done.
Everyone have a great week and weekend. This weekend is not looking nearly as productive for me as last weekend was. I will get caught up though.

I was suprised how much room I needed from my wolverine. Especially when I started throwing around a big bowl gouge with an Ellesworth grind. Let’s see some pictures of this setup!

Mot,
Pictures should be coming this weekend or early next week. I am hoping to get the grinders mounted and everything done on the cabinet by sometime Friday night. Then on to another simple but yet very useful project this weekend.
