The drill bits are finally getting organized and inventoried. I have started working on the layout of the four drawer cabinet that I built for under the drill press. The main purpose for this cabinet was to orgainze all of the wood borng tools that I have. I had started loosing drill bits and other tools that I knew I had. I finally convinced myself that I did not have the bit in the first place. Now that I have started orgainizing things, I have found several duplicate bits. Oh well, for the shape things were in, two or three extra bits is not that bad. The orgainization is coming along very well. Once I get this cabinet organized I will post the cabinet itself as a project.
I have also come a long way on building my sharpening station. I am hopng this weekend to get this cabinet close to done. It has a space for both of my grinders, and all of my chisel and plane iron sharpening material. I cannot wait to get it completed and post the picture for it.
Well, I can finally see the shop getting more organized and me being able to work a little better in it. I think now is a good time to start a separate series on my shop organization efforts. This should be a lot of fun. Hopefully by posting thes projects I can help someone else solve an organization problem that they may be having also.
