Hi there and thanks for visiting my page on LJ, I am a self taught all around handy guy that has worked in the tele-com industry since 1995 installing cable, pay phones with booths, telephone systems and the build out of communication rooms. I have remodeled 3 homes on my own and enjoy working with my hands, over the years the thought of fine woodworking has interested me and I am now able to give it a go. Thanks Lumber Jocks for helping newbes like me build skill and projects.

Hello RipSawRon,

Let me welcome you to LJs. I hope that you will find this to be a rewarding and exciting part of your woodworking journey.

-- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby.

Thanks for the warm welcome!! I will post some of my projects soon as I have time. It has been an almost life long desire to work with wood and build cabinets. Most of my projects so far have been off the hip self taught home improvement, from basic trim to total gut out. Now that I have a new garage with a shop space i am going to teach myself cabinet building, and fine wood working.

Thanks
Ron

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
