Benchcrafted Shaker Bench, build underway #1: Progress to date on new bench
Finally started the bench build following the plans purchased from Benchcrafted. Also purchased the complete hardware kit and everythingis included in that package with the exception of the wood. The first photo is the plywood carcass, 3/4” birch plywood, the second photo shows the face frame and end frame constructed of 1” poplar, half lapped joints on all, and the lat shows the back panel. Today I finished mounting the door on the side frame, and built the doors for the front.
