Hello Rick,
Yes it is great to have another Aggie that makes sawdust. I am class of ‘81 and hold a degree in Electrical Engineering. I live in Sealy, west of Houston and Katy.
The Woodworker’s Club of Houston website is http://www.wwch.org We meet on the second Saturday of the month (you just missed our May meeting). The meeting location is the Bayland Community Center, Bayland County Park. The Park is located close to the intersection of Bissonnet and Hillcroft. The local Roclker store and Cutting Edge are our biggest commercial supporters, Woodcraft occasionally. They also have information on the club, as our website.
Hope to see you at the meeting in June. Ask for Denis, The Aggie. They will laugh and point me out…8-)
