OK Since I was Aiming for the past few holiday weekends to get alot more shop time I went to the BOX store and bought 10.. of 3/4”x8”x8’... Went thru 2 box stores to be fair…

Then I glued up 8 pairs using a Face/Biscuit Joiner to insure they were glued up true… and clamped the crap out of them.. I new they were going to be WIDER then the final piece so I didn’t use anything to protect the outside edges. I did run them though my Joiner clamped and paired. so as to make really tight joints… So this is a typical glue up..

Front to back is.. Something to keep them true.. and then all the clamps I can put on!
Another look…
