I been woodworking for the past 7 years and still learning every day. I'm not a expert, cause that would say that I know everything and do it without mistake, I'm not a professional, cause I don't make a living off it, just a supplemental income. I'm somewhere in the middle, I can learn from all novice to expert. Young to old people.

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Hey bud,
Glad you made it to LJs. This is a place where the fun starts, so have some fun, ok? The fish is waiting.
You can come down and work in the shop anytime you want to…. I might even take you out on the lake for a boat ride…how does that sound?

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a little over a year ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…
Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Dear Res,
Welcome to the world of woodwormers. I’ve been at it for many years and have surived by just doing what ever comes in the door. In todays obama-conomy I would definitly keep your other job. Everyone is hoping things will get better and I think they will, it will just take a while. Find what you really enjoy and get good at it. Make a bunch of stuff and find some craft fairs to get some exposer. Good luck and God bless
Dan
