Hi, Redman 1947 here on a follow up to my posts of 9/15 of a technique I use to refinish furniture. Several requested some photos so here they are. Please post back if I can provide more details and appreciate the interest
Cherry cabinets as they were delivered to my driveway:
The completed product. I am in the process of doing the dining room table so all pieces will be of the same stain.
Here are a couple of pictures of the buffet under the cabinets that was stripped and refinished:

Before and After shots of a kitchen table I did:
Kitchen table after: This finish is semi-gloss but with the technique I described. Gives that rich glow, not a harsh ultra shine of gloss.

Again, thanks for the interest. Would appreciate any comments.

Gorgeous. I am envious of those who have perfected finishing and/or refinishing. It is the one part of woodworking that I absolutely hate.

Great job, I find the finishing to be the hardest part of woodworking.

Thanks for the comments. I used to be afraid of finishing pieces myself other than cheap unfinished book cases and the like. In the last year I have found it to be fun and incredibily gratifying to take a good piece of furniture that has been damaged over the years and see a finished product as good (nearly) as a factory finish.
For whatever it is worth, I hate plumbing.
